It's either a th200 filter (2 bolt holes) or it may have an adapter to a 904/727 Mopar filter (3 bolt holes) if it has deeper than stock pan. Either one should be able to buy at most auto parts stores though they may need to order it, also at Rock Auto.

Yes it has 3 bolts that hold it on and two larger holes for fluid.

Any 904/727 filter, either 1 or 2 fluid intake holes will work. Most parts stores carry them.

KDW does the filter look like a cotton filter or more like a screen? Many high performance transmission builders use the screen style. Screen style will not restrict flow as much. I am not sure you can get the screen type at a normal parts store. If you find it let us know. Ray

Does not look like a screen. Looks like some sort of cotton type material.

Good morning to all,
As a rule if the transmission has alum. parts in it, most builders will use that type of filter media. The screen type will be used with all steel parts. Alum. parts, drums, hubs and like that have a tendency to "shed" so that "cotton " material will trap the finer bits floating in the oil. I do know some racers that service there transmissions regularly won't use a filter at all. I'm not completely convinced that a filter puts that much of a restriction on the system, considering the size of some of the orifices' in the valve body and separator plates. I know you can order those types of filters from most performance outlets. Is there any reason that you haven't contacted Turbo Action?

Respectfully,

I contacted turbo action but Paul (the technician and owner) now only works from 1-4 monday through Thursday . They said I needed to talk to him. But being impatient as most racers are (lol), I decided to throw the question out there on class racer. All the lady could tell me at turbo action was it was a mopar filter. Thanks for your input and have a Merry Christmas to you and your family.
