Mr Jeff is correct and the 318 / 360 Magnum also has vertical intake bolts

Don't think so Jim it is a 360 DP motor in it, manifold bolts down like a FORD.

X2 - Drag Pak 360 were based on the Magnum style 360, but they had limited intake options. I believe Mopar Performance and/or Edelbrock had versions of a Magnum style head that were drilled for the standard LA intakes to expand intake options. (Not necessarily NHRA legal.)

Agree, I can't see any advantage of changing the original way it is done, in fact my personal feeling, the flat is hands down the best.
