Florida Density Altitude

Went out to airport to fly this morning. At 9:00 the Density Altitude was -600’ in Punta Gorda about 20 miles north of Ft Myers. Temp was mid 40s. Get ready for The Florida races.

Many years ago at the bracket finals in Gainesville the air was -800; if you haven’t raced in those conditions let me tell you it will throw you for a loop.
