It is one of the best portable weather stations you can buy; used in test labs and also by the military. Very reliable and accurate; for a couple of bucks more, I would get the 4500 Series.

I have it too, and I have learned to count on it, accurately. Damn good for the money.

Wink Re: Kestrel Weather Stations

I've been using the Sky Master for about 2 seasons and it's helped me a bunch dialing in a not very easy car to dial.Great improvement over the Tag i tried. The sy master doesn't predict like the Tag but then it was less than half the price.

The new 4250 Racing Version has more features and readings for about $25 more. We have both in stock and ready to go. 4000 Plus is $245 with no "handling fee" like the big names and the 4250 is $270.

Love the integrated wind meter also....

Chad-go to the Kestral website( NKhome.com) and look on the LOWER LEFT side tool bar about the 3 or 4th item from the bottom it tells the features of the 4250 Racing modes---it is seperate from the numerical listings for the other Kestral models---Also you can get a side by side comparison of the features of all of their models---Hope this helps Comp 387
