Does this mean I don't have to worry about Vegas Fuel being on our cars and trailers.

Question Re: Mello-Yello really?

Does this mean that Pepsi or other prominent soft drink company products and cars with their advertising will not be allowed on the grounds of an NHRA national event?

has it been an issue for them since 2002 when Powerade became the sponsor (Powerade is owned by Coca-Cola.) All Coke is doing is switching which brand they want to advertise more. Now that they have established Full Throttle in the energy drink market they are going after the slightly less caffeinated market competing with Mountain Dew

Yes. VegasFuel energy drink teams were required to cover their sponsor logos -- not sure what events the Worners ran into this, but Ray Thurston (Top Sportsman) dealt with this at the Norwalk national event.

Now, the next time he wins a race, how far can Allen Johnson throw a can of Mello Yello?

As I understand it, YES. This move reopens the door to all energy drink sponsorships. I'm sure the original targets of energy drink exclusivity were the big players like Red Bull, Rock Star and Monster, but it also hit some of the smaller players. It's good to see Vegas Fuel can be involved given that Vegas Fuel is owned by drag racer Max Naylor!
