Talking My INDY Jinx

Setting around at my Hotel Room wondering why I’m setting in Indy when I have had nothing put bad luck at the US Nationals! Here is what I have experienced at the great race. 2007 is the first time for me to US Nationals

2007 , Tossed for crankshaft get a year off, loss in finals of class

2008 , Come back after year off win class then taken away when
TB measures .4000 to big.

2009 Lose motor in qualifying, Comp car catches fire with Hudlow driving

2010 Lose 2 motors with spun bearings (changed oil before qualifying and found
bearing material) withdraw

2011 2 new cars, lose first round in stock, super stocker slows down 3 tenths

2012 So far, new motor wont run, cars 6hrs from track, put old motor back in
and its running real rough in stocker

I’m starting to believe there is some truth about what they say about Indy, It’s a tough place to race.

Any body else have luck like this in Indy ? If so I would like to hear about it

Yeah my bad luck is I've never got to point to even be able to attempt to go and have bad luck. I will make it one day though.
You have had chances and keep at it,things will turn around

Only been once. Had fuel pump issues (or something) and blew the planetaries first round of class.

Wouldn't blame you for finding something else to do that week. But it is a BAD HABIT !

Indy 2007: Our dear beloved dog Homes died at the track on the Saturday of Indy and none of our three cars qualified that year. That was the WORST INDY EVER.

In fact, it took me four years before I could even go back to that track. And we have yet to come back to the US Nationals. We will again, someday. Might leave the dogs with someone though....couldn't stand for that to happen again.
