Default metric 200 or th350

Im building my first stocker and am wondering about transmission. What are some advantages and disadvantages of a metric 200 and th350. Im running a 145hp 305 combo in a 77 skylark. Any info is greatly appreciated.

I have to think with a small engine like that you have to go with the 200,a350 would kill it.

He wouldn't want the 2.49 gear with that combo.

I would recommend the Metric 200 for your combination with the standard 2.74 low gear. Billy Lynn does a nice Metric 200 at affordable prices. -Al

Absolutely correct Jimmy, just think it's a good buy and first gear can be changed in order to suit whatever combo the OP migrates to.
