Smile 27th Annual Ronnie "Uncle Buck" Pig Roast

Cecil County Dragway - Rising Sun, Md - After a weekend off to celebrate the 4th of July holiday the Mid Atlantic .90 Association will swing back into action at the site of Race # 1 & 2 and Cecil County Dragway for the famous tradition known as the Uncle Buck Pig Roast on July 11th & 12th

On Friday, July 10th Cecil will open it's gates for the Friday Night Street Night starting at 5pm, racing / testing will be from 6pm to 10pm - Racers are $20 and Crew are $10. Gates will remain open till 11pm and then close for the night.

Saturday the gates will swing open at 8am with racing to begin at 9am. We will do two time runs and set the field from that, on Saturday we will be there with the United Stock / SS Series, Test & Tune and AMC Day will be with us.

With no Top 8 Race this year the Pig Roast should start around 5pm and everyone is welcomed to join. Once again social distancing is in effect and masks are optional to wear when in a large group. If you feel symptoms, have been effected by the virus, been around someone who has had it or have underlying issues we please ask that you stay home.

On Sunday, the gates swing once again open at 8am with racing kicking off around 9am. The .90 series and Test & Tune are the only groups there on Sunday, so we will try to do two time runs unless weather becomes an issue then we'll go to one so we can efficiently finish the event.

Cost:
Gate Fee on Sat & Sun: $30.00
Fee paid to the MA .90 Series: $80.00
Yearly Membership: $80.00 (Count 6 out of 10 races)
Calcutta: $10.00 (Farthest in eliminations that's entered gets the pot) - Past weekend was an about an additional $80 to $120 to the winnings

Payouts for members - At 20 cars we pay $1,000 (If your a non-member and win or runner-up, your membership dues will come out and you will earn points at the next event)

For more info you can contact Rob Keister @ 856-332-2851 or e-mail at Rekeister@aol.com

Default Re: 27th Annual Ronnie "Uncle Buck" Pig Roast

With this being the Uncle Buck Pig Roast and that it’s always a special event for racers, we are throwing on an additional $150 per class to the winners of each class that are members for Saturday’s race. Depending on Saturday, we may up the winners purse for Sunday also. So if your a member and we get 20+ cars you will get the $1,000 or more + an additional $150 (30 cars it goes up again)

The Bounty’s for Saturday’s Race...must be members to claim..
Super Comp: J.A. Pest Control Services / POR 15 – Amanda Boicesco $100
Super Gas: SRS Fitness / Marc Marcisco Law – Iggie Boicesco $50
Super Street: Keith Mayers Motorsports – Kelli Barbato $25

Also Sean Lanigan and his company are putting up $100 cash to the first racer who goes .000 and perfect 8.900, 9.900 or 10.900 at Saturday’s Race. He will give $100 to the a racer who does it in each class.

Also Please keep your eyes and ears open to emails and the Cecil County Facebook site tomorrow. If the track is closed due to weather on Friday Night, the gates will NOT be open (Just for Friday). The rest of the weekend looks to be pretty good....maybe a shower Saturday night but, we'll be done racing by then. We’re asking if you could to please park at the local Flying J or Walmart if possible to cut down on the amount of rigs at the gate. The area only holds maybe 4 big rigs per line and we can’t have you stacked along Theodore Rd. till the morning. Both the Flying J and Walmart are maybe 5-7 minutes from the track. I know this will make for a crazy mad dash to the track to get set-up but, let’s just hope for the best Friday Night...because we all know weather men are never right!
