Weather forecast looks real good, sunny skies with temps in the low 60's both days. All of us at Mason Dixon Dragway look forward to this race every year. We all love class cars and our race fans do as well. The track will work great, track prep has been terrific for everyone all year. We have new seating on the left side of the track at the starting line, great place to watch the wheels up racing, some of the pit roads have been have made wider and repaired also. For our race fans....this race will usually bring about 70 cars with good weather. Come on out and be with us both days, Sat & Sun. Look forward to seeing our Stock / Super Stock racers for the final race in the northeast this year!

Saturday $50 race (42 cars)
3rd round loser - $50
4th round - 100
5th round - 200
R/U and Win - 450 and 900

Sunday $100 race (63 cars)
3rd round loser - 100
4th round - 200
5th round - 400
R/U and Win - 1,300 and 2,600

What a GREAT weekend for racing. Beautiful weather (sunny, light breeze and low sixties for temps) both days, and a large turnout of cars.

On Saturday, Roger Reese won in his SS/JA '65 Nova. He defeated Lisa Bolton in her SS/KA '74 Dart Sport, Forty-four (44) cars raced; several more were there and just made test and tune runs.

Sixty-seven cars were on the property today. Sixty-four made first round. The winner was Bobby Fazio in his sweet stickshift SS/L '65 Mustang. He defeated Brad Huntzberry's GT/DA Camaro in the final. Brad and Bobby elected to split the money in the final to $2,150 winner/$1,950 runner-up.

Also, congrats to Brent Darroch, who our season championship, for the fourth time in six years.

Also, thank you to everyone who came out this weekend to race. I get many thanks in a given race weekend, and they are greatly appreciated. But it is really YOU, the racers, that make this what it is. I've said before I am just the monkey with the clipboard. Without racers, all my efforts go for naught. So, THANK YOU for making these races what they are. You'll never know how much it means to me.

Again, a huge thanks to the racers this weekend/season. Hope everyone has a great offseason!!
