Area restaurants, motels and more
(All are along U.S. 40; same road as the track, approx. five miles west of the track) Texas Roadhouse Bob Evans Denny's Sonic McDonalds Dairy Queen * I am hoping we will do our annual Racers Dinner at Hard Times Café in Hagerstown MD. 1705 Massey Blvd. Hagerstown MD 21740. Probably 7:00-ish * Hampton Inn Super 8 Days Inn Comfort Inn (two of them, a few miles apart) * Mention 'The Mason-Dixon Race' for a discount. Super 8, where we have stayed many times, is usually $40-some dollars per night with the discount. Bobby Fazio is good at finding good rates, so hopefully he will chime in * B.P. Amoco 7-11 Sheetz (1/2 mile west of the track)

This is a great race , thanks for putting together again. Has there been any work done to the track ? I have not been there in about 2 years . Car count is always good .

I know at the start of the season, they had ground some of the bumps and did some other track work; they had pictures of the work. And yes, car counts are always good. In the twenty-one previous years I have been to this race, there have been over thirty cars every year except two. The past five years have seen over sixty cars total for the weekend; twice had over seventy (except 2012, the Super Storm Sandy year).
