This is an inland California / Arizona 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS.
The original Build Sheet of this customer ordered Chevelle SS documents this as a true Z15 Super Sport. Factory equipped with the L48 350 engine (standard on 1972 Chevelle SS), Muncie M-20 4-speed transmission and G80 12-bolt Posi-Traction rear axle. This Chevelle SS also features the G94 3.31:1 rear axle ratio and F41 Special Performance Suspension Package. The transmission and rear end assembly are numbers matching to this Chevelle SS. This Super Sport is not a clone, re-creation or tribute car, it is the real deal. This Chevelle SS has been recently restored to it’s original color combination of color code 14 (silver) with Black SS stripe package and black interior.

Of particular importance to the owner of this Chevelle SS is the fact that all the important body panels, rear quarters, trunk, rockers, floor pans etc. are those items which left the Van Nuys, California assembly line with this VIN Chevelle SS in 1972. Not one panel or sheet metal part has been patched, re-bent, re-welded or filled over to hide any rust. If you are under the impression replaced or otherwise re-structured panels with inherent fitting and alignment issues are something which offer a benefit, then this is not the Chevelle SS you should be looking at. Plenty of these rusty and repaired Chevelles are available on E-Bay Today!

There is NO rust on this Chevelle. Not today, not yesterday.

Built in the Chevrolet Van Nuys, California plant as a customer order Chevelle SS, sold new at:
Van Strough Chevrolet
3330 Broadway
