2015 Tri-State Stock/Super Stock Association presented by www.robertsfamilymotorsports.com schedule.

~Saturday-Sunday May 23-24, Quaker City Motorsports Park, Salem OH (two races, one each day. $100 entry Saturday; $50 Sunday)
~Saturday June 6, Pittsburgh Raceway Park, New Alexandria PA ($100 entry)
~Saturday-Sunday September 5-6, Quaker City (race each day. $100 entry Saturday; $50 Sunday)**
~Saturday-Sunday September 26-27, Pittsburgh Raceway Park (race each day. $100 entry Saturday 5th annual Bob Butter-Carl Schodde Memorial race. $50 entry Sunday)
~Saturday-Sunday October 31-November 1, Mason-Dixon Dragway, Hagerstown MD (race each day. $50 entry Saturday; $100 entry Sunday-the Sunday race paying at least $2,000 or more to win).

**Sept 5-6 at Salem not set in stone (the other dates are). If we do not run at Quaker on Labor Day weekend, dates will be June 20 and August 30 (at Quaker; both on Saturdays, both single races $100 entry).**

All races open to all NHRA and IHRA-legal S/SS cars, as well as Nostalgia/Super Stock cars.

9 (nine) races. Best 6 (six) will count for points ($25 to join points).

Rules for Nostalgia/SS cars. Based mainly on 422 and/or NMCA rules. If you can run with either of them, as is, you can run with us, as is.

Minor differences are:

~any dial-in permitted, to the nearest hundredth. Dial-ins CAN be changed between rounds. .500 full-tree. 13.00 seconds or quicker only. Some series run on fixed Indexes, some have it where you can only dial to the nearest .05 and what you dial for first round is your dial for the day. Something many didn't agree with, so we made ours simple--same rules as a traditional S/SS car.

~ANY period-correct 1971-older, mid-to-full size muscle car (exceptions as listed with 422, NMCA etc. i.e. '68 CobraJet Mustang clone/recreation and 'package' cars). Some series allow Oldsmobile's/Buicks, but only 1964-1967. Seems silly that a 1968 car is 'too new', so we made ours 1971-older.

~period-correct, corporate, OEM-style hood scoop only (no Pro Stock-style scoops); limited to 5" (five inches) or less.

~bracket racing aids limited to transbrake or pedal-mounted two-step only. NO delay boxes, stutter boxes, throttle stops, etc. This option was giving, to make the playing field more level. Stockers can run 2-steps, S/S can run transbrakes, so I wanted to give N/SS competitors the option of them.

Top Five (5) points finishers will receive year end money. Fifth place will earn at least $100. Champion should get close to a thousand dollars, perhaps more. We already have $1,900 in our year-end points fund. With a lot of points members, we will pay more than $1,000 to the season champion.
