Default Finding grandads Chevy II

Hello everyone, I'm in search of my grandfathers 1966 chevy 2. It was white when he had it and said Lawrence & Marshall racing on the doorThe car had a 67 front clip on it when he sold it, have traced the car to poplar bluff, Missouri. From what we have gathered the car was painted green in poplar bluff and is believed to have said "money green" on the side, it was small tire car with a 327 ci Chevrolet motor when sold. My grandfather has recently passed away and I am currently bracket racing and would love to find his old car and race it in his memory, any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you all,
Bryce L.

What was his first and last name?
Where did he live?
What Drag Strips did he race it at?
What years did he race it?

What was his partners first and last name?

I found a Face book page for Beacon Dragway: https://www.facebook.com/BeaconDragway

In the photo section I found this Chevy II at the track racing, drivers name is Larry Wilson.

Jim Harrison Chevy II Super Stock is also pictured there.

I would suggest posting on it with all details and pictures asking for help.

Just trying to help you out Bryce.

The guys who have raced Chevy II's for a long while have a record of keeping track of one another and the cars.
There are several guys here that do or did race a Chevy II, it's just a matter of them spotting your post and reading it.

I also would look up all of the other Drag Strips near the Poplar Bluff area and look into if there are Face Book pages or websites.

Somebody knows where his car is.... I wish you all the best.
