A New Change In Our Ladder Makeup
After receiving a suggestion from several of our Super Stock racers the board has decided to make the following change in the way we do our ladder. Please know this is on a trial basis and if it works will stay, if not it will not continue.
Starting at our next race in Orlando, we will put Super Stockers on one side of the ladder and Stockers and NMCA cars on the other. When the SS cars are reduced to one car they will automatically placed in with the Stockers. This does NOT mean that should there be 6 SS cars and 20 Stockers, the last SS car will wait until all the Stockers get down to one car and they run in the final. The last SS car will be automatically brought into the other side of the ladder. This should help to bring our SS guys back racing with us. We are hoping this change could make the later rounds a little more fun and interesting and be closer to the kind of racing we are all used to with the NHRA and IHRA. Remember, this has to be fun for everyone and not just a few. I'm hoping this rule change will bring new and more racers into our Association. If you have any questions about this, please don't hesitate to contact me. Jim .
