Mr. Pat Cardwell R.I.P.
Just heard that longtime D-4 racer and friend Pat Cardwell passed away last night. His funeral services will be held Thursday in Ruston La. That is all I know at this time. He was good people, and he will be missed.

This is indeed some very sad and heartbreaking news, Mr Cardwell was a longtime friend and customer of mine, he and i had a lot of fun racing a few years back, he could still drive a car sometimes with the best of us. This was a very good man and i am sure Heaven has a place for Mr Cardwell! To Doug, Ronnie and Mrs Cardwell, May God Bless and be with you!

I tried to buy our first '69 from Mr. Pat. Unfortunatly it had just been sold. However, we had a great visit and got to meet a fine person. It's sad to see the passing of a good racer and a first rate person.

Both Sharon and I are saddened by the death of Pat Cardwell. He was one of the racers that you always had to see if he was at a race to stop and say Hi. We always admired how someone as old as he could keep up his enthusiasm for drag racing and stock eliminator in particular. He was a true "class" act. In my opinion he should have been in the Division 4 hall of Fame a long time ago. We will miss him at the races.
