Re: Asra meeting
ASRA "Board of Directors" and interested members, please be advised....
Despite whatever the outcome may be from the upcoming meeting, the ASRA board has a commitment to the 30 Sponsors who have generously contributed to the organization for 2014. They are promised that the " ASRA sponsor / advertisers billboard will be prominently displayed (in conjunction with a free water bottle station) at all ASRA races and events"... Please ensure that this policy continues See you at the meeting....... http://www.asra-ne.com/ASRA%202013/2...x48%202012.jpg

I find it odd to have a meeting at 8 AM on Saturday The gates by Lebanons web site do not open till 8 So there will be many members that cant get in to be at that meeting at 8 I also dont feel starting a meeting at 8 will leave enough time to get this resolved I feel there should be no meeting with out making sure everyone that wants to can be there This organization is made up of all the members not just a few members Why try and jamb in a meeting that is this important to less then 1 hour?

Re: Asra meeting
I am over 2 hrs away and I have to work the night before so 8am is out of the question. Could the BOD be a little more accommodating?

Re: Asra meeting
Is it possible to have it after the race on Saturday? We will be at the gate when they open but thats the same time as the meeting? Is Howard and the track manager going to be at this meeting?

Re: Asra meeting
All Star BOD-
Please schedule this important meeting when members can actually attend. Many members are traveling out early Saturday morning and will not have an opportunity to attend at 8AM. Rod's request for a more convenient time and ample time (to present the facts and Bylaws) is a very reasonable one. |

Re: Asra meeting
Whatever the outcome of tomorrow’s meeting, I just hope that we can get past the emotions and do what is right for the Association. I have to admit that I have reaped the benefits of the Association for 20 years, without bearing any of the responsibilities, and I commend those that have. At the same time, we have seen new benefits in the last few years. Being in my own little world up here in VT, I don’t know all of the issues at hand. If we need to make a public apology for one of the board members overstepping the boundaries, we may need to do so. I remember one board member who did so, and paid the price. But just as David Barton did, he got his point across. So ruffling some feathers can be beneficial from time to time.
