Ken,

Thanks again for the excellent reports (as always!)

Hope you have a safe trip home in this bad weather.

Nice run, Ken. I would be very happy with your package. Not much you can do there. I always say if I can cut a .015 - .025 light and run right on or one over and they beat me, that's the way it goes. Caleb laid down a great package to beat you.

Thanks a lot for the great reports and all the in-car cam videos. Much appreciated.

Only looks like that when you spin .08 and run .08 over. (I'll let you do the math.) Had him a few thou on the tree, .021 to .026. I'm still in disbelief that the car spun. That's simply RIDICULOUS. There's nothing more frustrating than doing your job and losing to something out of your control. The barometer was down about .60, the tailwind was 20-23mph straight downtrack. Weather station predicted about .15 slow, I dialed down .05, and if it would've hooked like it did all week, was heading for dead-on. Still picked up 2 mph. Job well done to Hudlow, taking .017 stripe. Wish I could've given you a real race.

Great seeing and meeting everyone this weekend, and best of luck to those remaining.

There are significant drainage ditches along the track and a retention pond by the end of the track off to the right. You can see the trickle of water next to the guardrail running downtrack. The shutdown surface looks really nice, almost polished. Coming back up the track, you can see the dirt track and the circle track from the scales. Looking across from the scoreboards and the end of the grandstands looking over to the pro pits and grandstands, you can clearly see the elevation change. Pretty sure they didn't build the grandstands uphill. Took a trip to the top to get the lay of the land, and again could see over to the dirt track nearby. Track crew is working hard!
I told you so about the Bruton tilt.Did you see the water running down towards the finish line?I bet a canoe would clock a good mph crossing the finish line.

Was Don Fezell's 9.38 the quickest run ever in Stock?

I've been to a lot of races this year already and frankly I'm starting to question the traction compound being used cause I'm seeing "Groundhog day" at all the events.
But thats just my 2 cents

Don ran 9.340, second quickest ever. Drew Skillman ran 9.339 at the Gators this year.

Ken great job as always!!! The in car cam vidoes are the best. I like the idea of side by side vidoes.
