Re: D1 Purse & Entry Fee for 2020
So now we can win more [ less contingency payments ] at a Divisional than a National event !

Re: D1 Purse & Entry Fee for 2020
Let’s be honest Tom the division races are becoming our National Events. More cars, No Quotas, Now a better payout, better competition, getting to hang with people who don’t attend the Nationals and come Sunday you normally have 1round of racing done and having all your friends still there rooting you on, not down to 4 cars and not running till 3pm.

Re: D1 Purse & Entry Fee for 2020
I've been bitchin' about low payouts for years, and FINALLY, an increase.. while I'm really not happy about the increased entry fees, I guess we have to take the good with the bad.. UNLESS, like me, you see it as a punishment for asking..
AND YES, the Divisional races are becoming my National Events, cause D1 doesn't offer much in the way of National Events, without the travel.. rising costs are putting a dent in that, along with the lack of desire to drive my stuff that far.. BUT, I do look forward to the Divisionals, where not only can I race against the best, but at the end of the day, I get to hang with the best... IMAGINE THAT!!! |

Thnx Bob.. your circuit is actually more fun too..
I do have a question for NHRA though.. not that it would happen, BUT, if there are less than 33 cars, do we pay a lower entry fee??... DIDN'T THINK SO!!! |

I’ll bet they took away your third round payouts. That’s what happened for D4.
