Default AH Car in GT

Almost afraid to ask. Does anyone know, for sure, if you can take an AH car complete with engine and go to GT/AA? Classinfo say 3212# but there may be a restriction by NHRA.

I don't know for sure but I think others have done it.

I guess you could say it was a 64 engine, were those enough alike?

For more fun I would think you could use aluminum heads and have a 65 engine.

Looks as if NHRA has limited the AH car

I could be wrong but I don't think that applies to GT, others will know for sure.

Yes you can. Comella and Zrust have both done it. I assume there are more, but those 2 for sure

Yes, There was a west Texas racer, Don Moore. RIP
At one time his wife had all his stuff for sale.
He ran in SSGT/AA with the 505 hemi most of the time.
At the time I think it was the same index as SS/AH
