Default Lifter/camshaft choice

Would like opinions on lifter/camshaft combinations.
Which would provide better longevity, less likely to fail?

Cast iron camshaft/composite type lifter(shuebeck style)
or
Nitrided camshaft/tool steel lifters.

What is the maximum valve spring pressure each of the above
can safely handle.

Lastly, a souce for purchasing?

Your opinions very much appreciated,
Gerry

Your best bet is talk to a pro about your specific application. I would recommend John Partridge at Bullet Cams. He's been in the business literally forever, used to work at Lunati years ago. Call 662-893-5670
