Default Mechanical stops

Do you guys have any input on mechanical throttle stops. Do they work well? Who makes a good one etc.? Thanks.

Are you referring to a fixed restrictor plate type stop or a timed under carb stop ?

I am talking about a fixed linkage type, possibly under carb type, I just don't have a lot of hood clearance. I just need to slow up around .2 to .3

Jeff,

I use the 4500 style ET genie, before that I made a stop out of an aluminum spacer. I may still have a 4150 style stop that I use to use on smaller motors.

If it were me, I would just make the carb adjustable on the secondaries or a positive stop under the pedal. For .2 secs on your et slip you may need that in the summer heat. Save your money.

Hacksaw's right for that little amount I'd dead bolt under the pedal or linkage ,or use weight .
Way back when I ran Super Street , I dead stopped for the main amount and adjusted up or down for the last .10th or so with weight ,
