from what i was told ram air hood is only aa-sa,a-sa.. an a flat hood is b-sa,c-sa !! if u want to sean u can put yours in D-SA WITH ALL THAT WEIGHT IF U HAVE A LS-1 IN YOUR CAR !!! but i am not ... c- ya later boo-boo!!

The ram air hood is only rated less with a manual trans combo, much less cars are running with that and have not been hit with hp.

Floyd is correct. Just checked the NHRA.com classguide. All 99-02 LS1 Firebirds without ram air (flat hood) have a natural class of C/SA.
