Re: 1965 Impala BBC Stocker Update
Are we allowed to use a 4 Speed (4L60) auto if we use only the 1-2-3 Gears?

Being a newby I would say that I am surprised you are allowed to triangulate the stock suspension mounts with DOM tubing. Then again the rule book doesn't say you can't. If and when we put the 396 in our 69 Chevelle to go C/S racing I am going to do the same. Have you talked to your Division Tech about where the triangulation 'stops' being legal? Good looking build.

Re: 1965 Impala BBC Stocker Update
VERY NICE! I love big cars with 4-speeds! The way it was! What motor combo will be run? I'm not too familiar with stock elim. stuff, I guess its a 396-350hp oval port base? I think I have a good steel crank if needed. -Mark

Re: 1965 Impala BBC Stocker Update
Here is the completed rear- 4:88's Moser 33 pline spool with rifle drilled axles, "star" flanges, also rear upper control arms, $30 each to builld in parts, not a "dime rocket" but the last time i had someone else fabricate them for my 68 they were $400- don't have that $ now! Also my "poor boy" solid front upper control arm brass bushings. Chucked up on a lathe years ago machined to fit my control arms. Donated brass- total cost $0 Car is wrapped up outside from snow, frame is attached now.
