Welcome to another week of Wheelz-Up Radio. Your #1 Choice for Sportsman Drag Racing. This week on Wheelz-Up Radio presented by Sassy Race Engines we join host Chris Barnes, Tri-State Stock/SS President Mike Carr, and special guest Mid Atlantic .90 Association President Rob Keister & his trusty sidekick Kelli Barbato for a special evening of fun. On this week's show the Rob & Kelli will talk with 2x Pro Stock World Champion Erica Enders, the driver of the Elite Motorsports Pro Stock Dodge Dart. The gang will also wrap up the National Event at Bristol & IHRA National at MIR and look forward to the National Event at Norwalk & the Mid Atlantic .90 kick-off at Maple Grove.
This week's guest comes from the state of Texas and has been an inspiration to young kids since 2003 when a movie based on her and her sister Courtney's Junior Dragster career hit the Disney Channel. The movie we are talking about is none other than "Right on Track" and the special guest we are talking about is non other then Erica Enders-Stevens. Since its premier the movie has been inspiring young kids all over the world to shoot for their dreams and never let anything get in your way. Enders shot for her dreams and after a stint in the Super Gas ranks became one of the most successful Pro Stock Drivers beginning in 2004 driving for Victor Cagnazzi Racing. After leaving Cagnazzi Racing in mid 2006 to drive for a number of other teams, Erica returned in 2011 to Cagnazzi, picking up right where she left off. On July 1st, 2012, Erica reached another milestone, becoming the first female Pro Stock even winner in NHRA history in Chicago. In 2014, Enders switched over to Elite Motorsports in part creating a dynamic team with a Championship set on their mind. Enders, did just that with a winner take all final round at Pomona against Jason Line only to follow that up with another Championship in 2015 in convincing fashion. Erica will talk with Rob & Kelli about her 2016 season, the switch over to Dodge and EFI and what it's like to work for Richard Freeman.
