After filling up, Joe came walking out with fresh pizza for himself ( Me and the tummy are not ready for that) and a box of Cinnabons.. I mean in a Flying J...Seriously.... So we'll hit the road again in the morning.. Think we are booked in here for the night.. Oh, and did I say GO DUKE!!! (Sorry, Larry)

In 1998 I got to go on a mini-tour. Don Little & I towed our cars to Houston, Phoenix & Pomona. So. Much. Fun. Most nights we would stay in a rest area, driving until dark. One morning we woke up, walked out to get in our trucks and saw the sign about the snakes. I don't know about Don, but it freaked me out, as I had done a little walking around after arriving the night before! There was no more walking in the dark after that! lol

Well, I have got 4 of the 8 garbage bags full of dirty laundry finished and thought I would get back to the rest of our pictures! Here are a few more from our final days on the road.

This was a great place to stop, just east of San Antonio! They don't let in regular tractor trailers, but a great place for motorhomes and trailers. And diesel fuel was $1.99! Great food inside, too! And lots of parking, even overnight!

These photos might belong on the other thread, but they sure were cute!!

"Ease on Down the Road"

I think this is Houston! All those towns in Texas start to look alike after a while!

All of these are in Louisiana!

Home again! And this is one of our dogs, Annie, welcoming us!

And this was the final tally since October 13th!

Chris took this picture of the weary travelers!

And look who is in our driveway whenever we arrived home! That is Jimmy Hidalgo's motorhome and trailer. He is here deer hunting with 3 others from Louisiana! So far they have 10 in 2 days!

Our rig home for a few months!!

A month's worth of mail to get thru!
