Re: National Events 305.00???WTF
Answer = $35 per event increase.
Looking at the big picture during the past year - Diesel is up- Gas is up My MH Ins is up, in fact I don't know of anything that has come down in price at all. Instead of bitching about the fees, we need to pass these concerns along to our divisional reps. for answers. That;s what they are for, isn't it ? Oh that;s right as of now they are consummed with surveys of some sort. Am I going to stop racing for $35 a race- answer is no and I don't think any of you are either. Perhaps they could offer a credit for all the Mufflers we were required to buy and offset the Ins cost. I 'd be happy to send them mine.

Bryan,
How did you arrive at that number ? Luke Bogacki backed into me in Brainerd while we were dashing from the rain in the lanes. Maybe I should have filed a claim with NHRA.

Well, some folks are not fazed...already over 30 entries combined for SC and SG. And it's only been open to Grade 8's for a bit over 6 hours!

Really, there's no conspiracy going on here. Insurance is expensive. I watched Mark Niver die at the track last year, there's a lot of cost (emotional, human, and monetary) when stuff like that happens. As for "holy cow" diesel is up, give me a break. Two years ago I was paying over $5/gal for the stuff and I didn't stop racing, it's "only" $3.35 now. Folks, racing is expensive and dangerous. If you want to do it on the cheap, do it at your local track's T&T...

305 to get there wed. Night , make 1 time run satuday night (maple grove) & first round 45 minute later on a track that they knew 3 weeks before was seeping water. Think its time to back to ihra & some big money bracket races, we race 4 divisionals & 3 national events last year. Probably not this year
