Roy Johnson Interview
Having seen Roy run the 62 Plymouth he mentions at a local track all the way through his dominance of PS he has always remained the most down to earth person you can imagine. Several years ago I talked to him at Seattle and told him I had the W2 motor that Allen won his first IHRA Super Stock race with in Roy’s Challenger. He called Allen over and the stories he told about that race were amazing in the detail and who he ran. So many racers with championships on their resumes change (listen to driver interviews, I won’t mention names) but not the Johnsons. A true legend.

Re: Roy Johnson Interview
You are right Jim. Roy and his son Allen are true legends in the sport. What a great interview with Roy. What a humble, grateful guy. When was this done??
This was a 2 part good deal for me. The interview was great and seeing the Rottler name on display makes me smile. My youngest daughter works for Rottler in logistics. If you buy a machine from them, chances are she is involved in finding a truck to get your machine to you. I am very proud of her and wear the Rottler gear with pride. Sorry for making this personal, but being a father you just have to.

Re: Roy Johnson Interview
That is great. I see they also have several other ones, with Frank Iaconio, with Warren Johnson, etc.
