Indy question
If you do not qualify can you still run class(Stock Elim)?
If you win your class, does that mean you are qualified? Terry K |

At one time if you won class you were automatically in the field, but not anymore. It's go fast or go home. You must be in the 128 car field to run Eliminations. There are always a few Broke/Didn't pass tech cars so generally 3-4 alternates get in first round. So If you qualify #130 you better be ready come first round.

Re: Indy question
Class Eliminations start the second qualifier on Thursday. Normally about 10 am. After that it's when ever they call you back to the lanes.
Friday is tear down day for Stock or a day off if you aren't in the barn, and class eliminations for SS Saturday is at least 2 rounds of Stock starting in the very early am. In the lanes and ready for an 8am start. and tear down day for SS. Sunday is more Eliminations, again starting early. They generally like Stock/SS down to no more than 8 cars for Monday.

Re: Indy question
Steve, you did a great job of explaining the event. I have a few friends that will be there, so will be very interested in the outcome.
