Saturday May 14th 2016 2:00pm till Midnight Curfew Sunday May15th Rain Date Street Sharx Heads Up and Grudge Nights.

The goal of this series is to offer local car enthusiast a safe, FUN, and legal alternative to the street racing scene. Part get-together and car meet, car show, and legal grudge racing with cash night heads up racing. This low cost format is designed to be fun first and foremost. It will be a work in progress. We won't get everything right at first, but with your support we can make it into a great program. The rules for the grudge racing are simple and straight forward. We will prep the track initially for the day with drag and brooming, followed by a light coat of traction compound. After racing starts we will only broom and drag and keep the track clean. No ET times will be displayed or given out. The tree will be manually operated with an instant green. (no amber bulbs) if you go red, you jumped and are disqualified. Gates will open at 2:00pm with open grudge racing till 6:30 for ALL. Tech Card cost is $20 for Pit side, grudge or show. No Tech card is needed for spectator side parking. General admission is $10 at gate, kids 12 and under free, Veterans with ID free. Only basic safety rules for grudge racing. Seatbelts, full length pants, and sleeved shirts. If you have a faster car. ( you know who you are, and run faster than 8.50 in the eighth mile) we want you to have a racing jacket, helmet and the normal NHRA safety equipment.) After open grudge racing we will start the Cash Days portion of the program. These rules are vague and will be a work in progress to get the legs under this series. The classes are as follows. Motorcycle, FWD, AWD, Daily/Average Joe, Small Tire, and Big Tire. Each will have a one hundred dollar entry with a maximum of 16 entries with a minimum of 10 entries the winner will be awarded $1000. 12-5 Cars will pay the winner $1000 and the Runner-up $400. A full field will pay the same with semi-finalist getting one hundred each. If we have less than 10 entries it will be 100% payback split 70/30

Cash Days classes. (remember grudge format is open to ALL)

Motorcycle - Power adder ok, no slicks, extended swing arm ok, No wheelie bars. Snell 2005 or newer helmet, leather jacket, Leather shoes covering the ankle. and leather gloves.

FWD - Single Power adder ok, no slicks, DOT approved drag radials ok. Normal safety equipment.

AWD - Same as FWD but AWD

Average Joe - Full exhaust past drivers seat, full windows, no lexan, fiberglass limited to hood, full interior, no firewall cutting, no tubs, single power adder ok, TRUE STREET TIRES no drag radial/tires with competition compound. (this will be the equalizer)

Small tire - DOT Drag radial up to 315 Series, or DOT slicks up to 10.5" (NO 10.5w tires) No Full Chassis Cars. OEM roof and quarter panels. Any power adder

Big Tire - any DOT approved tires, OEM roof and quarter panels.

Competitors can lock in spots online with 50% lock in ticket. (remember limited to the first 16 cars) remaining $50 must be paid at gate. If your car breaks or you don't show fee is forfeited. If we have no shows, we will attempt to fill the class prior to starting. You may sell your lock in ticket but it is your responsibility to sell and to notify us.

In addition to Cash days we will have five limited spots for "Call Out Cash" two with a minimum $100 Call Out ($200 to Win), two with a minimum $250 Call Out ($500 to Win) and one with a $500 minimum call out ($1000 to Win) You are welcome to call out for a higher pot but not less. These will be our final races of the night.

Online lock in ticket sales will open at 5:00pm Monday May 2nd. Discount general admission tickets $5 sold through May 12th

We will also do a Fan/Crew "Cash Day" ticket $5 for 1 or $20 for 5 tickets with two tickets being drawn for a 50/50 split. Those two must then wager a minimum of 50% of what they are awarded on a random 1st round pairing. (think typical 50/50 drawing but with 50% going to two fans/crew If the pot was $1000 each would get $500 with the stipulation they must then wager at least $250 of that on a random 1st round race. So one would go home with $750 and one with $250 or they can risk the entire $500 if they both agree)

With your help we can make this a great series and fun event for all. We are already working on multiple cameras for a LiveStream for our second event, and looking at booking some live music entertainment, but we need your support.
