Connecting Rod Side Clearance
What is the best clearance? Is it rpm related, loss of oil pressure due to clearance related. Windege, lots of stuff going on below the cylinder walls.

Its the oil clearance that regulates the oil that flows out between the rods not side clearance.
I have worked on some piston guided rod engines with .110 side clearance no problems |
