Its not often I find it IMPOSSIBLE to find a picture of a Nationals class winning car - especially AA/S at the 65 Spring Nats.

So there you have it - I know Mr Borkes drove a Dodge (Source Drag racing the Family Sedan) - he won AA/S and was runner up to Mike Schmitt at the same meet in Top Stock Eliminator.

Yet I cannot find one single picture of him, or his car. A true enigma!

Any help appreciated.

Well I was there but no photos. It was a high school graduation gift our parents gave a friend and myself.

I would think someone will have something.

The car in the photo is in Don Snyder's collection. Welsh Motors never sponsored any cars, Don just lettered the car as such when he restored it because they were his local Ford dealer. That car was originally Don Liberatore's from Pittsburgh.
