Which Strange master cylinder in a 4-gen F-body
Have a -97 Formula with strange 4 piston calipers front + rear.
Strange recommend the master cylinder with 1.125 diameter bore. Anybody with experience or is 1.032 master cylinder better choice. I might get very strong right leg. |

A 1.062 diameter Wilwood will work the best for the Fbody with 4 wheel discs and a 6 to 1 pedal ratio .
The 1.032 will work, but you will have a fairly soft ,deep pedal. The 1.125 will require a strong leg with a 6 to 1 pedal to get much more than 900 # pressure . .....It will work with a 7 to 1 ratio , but the pushrod geometry is not so good. Regardless of which you choose be sure to use some sort of retainer for the push rod beside the rubber o ring.

Re: Which Strange master cylinder in a 4-gen F-body
Im working with aerospace and the tech has been great help. Most polite informative guys. Im at 6-1 and have 800 psi. Changing ratio to 7-1 as recommended.
Hoping for close to 1000 psi. Last edited by chris ok; 10-22-2017 at 11:42 PM. Reason: Math |

The Mopar master cylinders we have encountered have different proportions
from front to back depending on part # and bore size plus application (IE 61/39 or 69/31). Is that not important?
