OK guys, the GLSSS verses the NMCA Challenge July 21st at Martin Michigan is starting to take shape. The seated cars for NMCA in Superstock are Mark Nowicki, Dennis Breeden, Amy Faulk, and Joe Ewing. In Stock, Bruce Boyle, George Cox, Dave Swanson, and Randy Eakins. There are still 8 NMCA (4 stock / 4 SS) openings that will be determined at the race, after Q1. The GLSSS team of 16 will be determined after their June 9th race weekend. If you are a seated NMCA racer and for whatever reason cannot compete at this event, or have any questions, please contact Jim Bailey. Shaping up to be a premiere event!

NMCA vs GLSSA Stock / Super Stock flyer attached. This will be a bonus race to go along with the regular NMCA stock and super tock classes with a minimal $50 entry fee and a great payout! As Jim said there will be 4 stock and 4 super stock spots in the shootout on the NMCA team that will be filled in with racers attending the Martin Race.

Quick point out on the $50.00 entry fee for this bonus race. As noted on the flyer, the winning "Team" racers each receive their entry fee back!!! This is a 100% payback race.

Thumbs up Re: Stock / Superstock Challenge, Martin Michigan

OK guys, the GLSSA vs. NMCA Stock /Superstock Challenge is coming together! The Ladder with 24 seated cars is set. 16 GLSSA participants and 8 NMCA participants. There are 8 spots available! 4 Stock and 4 Superstock. The spots will be filled by a random chip draw after the Friday morning Time Trial, so anybody still has a chance to get in! The shootout will be run to conclusion on Friday evening. Should be a blast! Don't forget, this is a 100% payback event! ...Brad Z will be posting the seated ladder shortly.

NMCA VS GLSSA ladder and additional information-

- All participants in the Shootout must be entered in the NMCA event.
-All participants in the shootout will pay $50 entry fee. GLSSA racers will pay Brad or Charley prior to first round, NMCA racers will pay their entry to Angie at the registration trailer.
- The posted ladder is locked in, if any of the laddered NMCA or GLSSA racers are not able to run or decide not to run the shootout their open spot will be filled in with an alternate at the track in the open spot on the ladder. Racers electing to not run will only change their pairing on the ladder, the whole ladder will not be redone.
- There will be a driver meeting immediately following the Super Stock Time Run, on Friday morning, at the True Street Tent. THE LADDER WILL BE COMPLETED AND FINAL AT THIS MEETING. (Before Q1 Friday morning.)
-The final 8 wildcard spots on the ladder are TOTALLY random! Anybody at the race can be awarded a spot on the ladder representing team NMCA, The 8 wildcard spots on the ladder will be determined at the drivers meeting. Jim will assist Mike Washington in a random chip draw to determine the final eight spots on the ladder. (4 Stock and 4 Super Stock). Their $50.00 shootout entry will be collected at this time.
-For whatever reason, if there's not enough Stock racers to fill the wild card spot(s), the spot(s) will be filled with a Super Stock. The same goes for Super Stock. The spots will be filled with a Stocker.
-Time permitting, Jim will make every attempt to have copies of the ladder and run schedule, to be passed out, in the staging area during Q1 on Friday morning. (For sure it will be posted at the trailer.)
-This is a single-entry event. If a driver is on the ladder in their Stocker, they cannot be on the ladder in their Super Stocker or vice versa.
-NMCA will provide the winner's trophy and R/U plaque.
-GLSSA will provide the large award check.
-NMCA will be handling the payouts for the shootout

Lightbulb Re: Stock / Superstock Challenge, Martin Michigan

GLSSA and NMCA have put a lot of work into this event. --- To the seated racers that are on the ladder --- If for any reason - you can't make it, or select to not participate in the Challenge race, that's fine, but let us know ASAP so the alternates can be notified. We are on a pretty tight time schedule, so help us out. Thanks, in advance!

Great Job team GLSSA! Shout out to winner Randy Running and r/u Paul Mecure! Nice job guys! We fought through some track software issues, but overall, it was a great race. NMCA would like to thank all the participants! Planning to do it again next year, with improvements!
