Question super modified

i have a nhra rule book but i am confused about the chassis rules. i have a 71 plymouth scamp. can i use a bolt in tubular K member and a arms? also do i have to run the stock rear suspension of can i use a 4 link? and my last question is: i have a 358" dodge R5P7 nascar motor, can i run that in super modified?

you have to run a stock front suspension, and can use a 4 link in the rear

The R5P7 block/heads have factory part numbers on them, yes you can use the engine. Let me know if you need any help, I have a little bit of background with those engines.

The P7 head was designed with 11 degree slanted ports for a single carb, but they also do work well with the intake ports straightened out, a sheet intake, and a pair of dominators. One of those in Bocephus would be bad azz.

Well I have a GT car for it, but now that you mention it. Lets See 850 Hp at 3700 lbs. I can get that car to 3450 in SS trim, that is sick to think about.

you can run a sheet metal intake and twin dominators? i didnt know that that was legal!

I was referring to Herb's post about running in the SS/BM class, that class can run the 2 dominators. You can run a sheet intake in super modified, and you should, even with the single 4 barrel. If you are serious about this, PM me and I'll help all I can.
