My wife's 2007 Escalade is equipped with the 6.2 (376) and it is rated 403 by GM. Ten years of development, DPI, etc. and it lost 38 HP, amazing.

Re: New A/SA In Minnesota
Jimmy, nhra stopped being a legitimate sanctioning organization years ago. They will take money from any source and compromise their membership to accommodate that money source. Chevrolet is a TV sponsor and will get what ever it wants. Each year the product/service that nhra offers ALL racers loses value while the cartel in Glendora feeds at the trough.

Re: New A/SA In Minnesota
According to Chevrolet, the showroom cars in NHRA racing were based off the CRC or Competition Racing Chasses (body in white) the shipping weight (3150) was based on a 'lighter" showroom engine vs the Copo (3195). Based on our CRC based on Copo, to determine the weight, as it is assumed Ford and Dodge used their Cobra Jet and Drag Pak when determining Showroom shipping weights.
That's pretty good. Now I'm sure we all agree that is a good way to determine the shipping weight. I mean we are only talking 500 lbs or so. No big deal. Sherman, Boudreau, Cummins & Cummins (sound like lawyers) Hill, Shaul, and all the others agree with this so it's OK? What yall think/
