Re: Optima Trailers?? feedback
I have been looking at trailers for several years and the Optima really impressed me. It seemed "neat", not to fancy but well made. I have heard that there was in issue with the dovetail but that had been corrected a long time ago. Their "fit and finish" seemed very good and the all aluminum construction seemed a plus, they also seemed to hold their resale value.
That being said, Pace was the manufacturer and I believe that Look has taken over for them. I have not heard as to their intentions for Optima. Just my thoughts, good luck and keep us informed on what you purchase, your thoughts and feelings.

Optima closed before Pace. But they were beautiful.

Re: Optima Trailers?? feedback
I bought a 2005 Optima gooseneck trailer used in 2007 and it has served me well for 5 years with no issues at all. I have had a T&E and a Goldrush in the past and although the Optima isn't quite as fancy it is a good solid trailer. So if you are like me and a Goldrush or T&E just isn't in the budget (even used) I'd recommend looking at Optima.
It's too bad they're not making them new any more. |
