Re: Trsiler Tiers OR Light Truck?
My last two trailers came with goodyear's. They said they were good trailer tires. After changing way too many and replacing both fenders on the last trailer I will not buy anything g Goodyear that they say is good. They said the marathons were good. We all know how that worked out. And the G159 motorhome tires. I have my doubts about goodyear right now.

Re: Trsiler Tiers OR Light Truck?
If your raise the trailer so the tires are off the ground in the off season you will see an increase in tire life wether LT or trailer tires. In the NE our off season is 6 months long. I used to put the trailer on jack stands now I use trailer legs, much easier. Prior to getting the tires off the ground every 3 to 4 years the tires would blow out.

That was a very good tire. Main thing during the season if it sits outside is to cover them & Always check your tire pressure before going to the next race. And Great advice by Tom Goldman with the valve stems.

Re: Trsiler Tiers OR Light Truck?
OK after two Blow Outs ... !
Who makes the best trailer trailers tires other than Goodyear.. Looks like they are a great tire and the most expensive. My wagon for towing uses Nitto's as they have a load ratings 250 lbs better than any other tires. Dan |

Re: Trsiler Tiers OR Light Truck?
$128 a tire is hardly expensive if you factor the cost of damage from a blow out or worse if you loose control !

After blow outs on my Motorhome (G670's and FYI the G159 tires referenced by Painter are subject of a big class action suit) and exploding Goodyear Marathons on the trailer (replaced with Maxis Load Range E with great results) I'm a little gun shy of GY but have to admit the Endurance are getting good reviews. If you have Marathons on your trailer you are tempting fate.
