Default 65 Malibu rear control arm angle question

Hi ,
just trying to find some setup information for rear end in a 65 Malibu .
Has a Strange 9" bolt in . UMI adjustable upper bars , UMI fixed lower bars , 1"lowered UMI rear springs , Viking shocks .

Motor makes 460HP , 4800 stall vert , T400 , footbrake launch .

Currently :
upper bars are 9 degrees down
lower bars are 3 1/2 degrees up
pinion angle is 3 degrees down

Car has not been run yet . Is this a close enough to start point or way off base ?

Thanks in advance ,

Tex

Tex,

We downloaded the spreadsheet in the link below to help us get our 81 Malibu rear suspension setup and working correctly. We found it to be extremely helpful.

It is just as important to get the front suspension setup and working properly. If the front suspension isn't working in concert with the rear suspension, results will be less than desirable.

Good luck.
