Hello everyone, we are here at D1's first race of the season. Weather this weekend looks good with temps in the mid 60's. There is a test and tune tomorrow from 12 to 6. They let us park today from 3 to 9. Most D1 races we get to park on Wednesday, which is great for the early arrival's.

Not many race cars out today. I did catch one of Gary Richard's cars out. The track is all new from start to the finish line. Sterling Simmons told me the track is smooth and hooks great.

Larry Wiggins was our parking attendant today, as he is at all the D1 events.

Is stock getting one qualifying pass Friday morning and one Saturday morning?

The schedule say's (2) runs on Friday & one Sat. morning, with 1st Rd for Stock & S/S in the afternoon ...The rest of the show is on Sunday ...There's no rain in sight till Monday ? I was their today & watched the T N T, there was a Strong- head- wind blowing at 20-30 MPH ... Didn't hear any ET's , tomorrow will be cooler ... Hope this helps , Track look's Great & had some good bite when I Tested their a couple of weeks ago !!! Should be very interesting to see how fast it is on the first run tomorrow ???

Here are some shots from today's testing. We had a steady 10 to 15 mph head wind with gusts up to 30. On one of my test runs it felt like I hit a brick wall after the 1/8 mile. the DA was around 1400ft.

I have a video I will up load later. The Schedule for the race is what Dave posted.

If I remember correctly its an 04, he was at Galot last weekend but couldn't get a good pass out of it and didn't go by the scales. I never got chance to talk with him to see what kind of problem he was having.
