Have you reached out to B&W, yet? I dont even think they make the square bed adapter to inverted kingpin anymore. If I buy a newer truck, I will likely have to convert my GR inverted to a gooseneck ball.

Look into a custom adapter plate to connect your '97 Gold Rush Trailer with those Jaws to a new truck bed. It's a neat solution that allows you to join the Jaws on your trailer without much hassle with the pin on your truck.

However, I have been getting all my trucks and trailers form this second-hand marketplace https://www.boomandbucket.com/equipment/trailers. They have different models adapted to different needs; you should check out their website; maybe you can find something already done, and you don't have to stress yourself with changes.
