Also reinforce the torque boxes before you tear them apart.

I am new to the Stocker game myself... but just finished a car I will be running this year. If you need any help, feel free to e-mail, and I will glad to help.

12.20 so far... no tuning to speak of... just basically got the thing to run. No adjustments to the clutch, shocks, or anything. The next outing will be at the World Ford Challenge at Indy on May 17-20. We will see what we can do...

you might want to try and run H/FIA to get you more under the index. The index gain you get for the weight is worth it. You get .3 from G to H and go from 3180 to 3395lbs and if you use .1 per 100lbs you get a free .1th. I think you get more than that though. I don't know what division you run but around here there are some fast G cars and trucks so you have to run pretty strong to keep up with them or do like I do and run and hide until I can build a new engine. These cars are really fun and you can get alot out of them for what you have to put into them. Hope it all works out for you.
good luck, mark |
