It would've been really cool to grow up near Wally Booth. here in Oklahoma we are a long ways from most of the really well known knowledgeable AMC people.

Cars together need to figure out why its twisting like this not something amx's normally do it's been a 6.80 at 101 in the 1/8th with a 1.48 60ft haven't got a good 1/4 mile pass out of it yet hopefully this weekend. but it goes really straight so no problem there i think it could use more gear too.

we actually know them, that car is now a street car again. and i don't believe its been drag raced since the 1970s. Joe woods the guy that built the cage and moved the springs in just said we would add an anti roll bar this winter i actually think thats why its twisting is the springs are 6 inchs further in then they used to be it may be a caltrac adjustment too maybe add a little preload on the right but i'm not sure i want to mess with it yet.

So after telling my dad about this post he informed me the guy who actually raced the car in 76 passed away and his brother is the one that restored it back to street trim.
