I have pumped my fuel cell dry, and refilled with the new stuff. I have a fuel line for that. I pump the old fuel into a jug, pour in the new fuel, pump a quart or so of that to flush the lines. Has always passed just fine after that.

If you have foam in the fuel cell you need toremove it. It holds enough of the old fuel to fail you. Had it happen to me.

I have no foam in mine for that reason. I should've mentioned that. Sorry.

Randall,

I have changed from C-11 to 12, now on 14 with the same foam in the cell with no issues. I drained the tank and lines completely, and then emptied about a 1/4 gallon from up front to try to get it all out. Now, I did run at a local combo race with the new fuel each time I changed, so the car had a chance to clear itself out before I ran at a divisional or national where I was checked.

Jason

Thanks, that's what I was hoping to hear, as I did not take foam out. Planning on T & T Wed to clear it out....we'll see. Going from 11 to 12

Hey Randall & Jason - If you're willing to share the information, why did you (or are you going to) move away from C-11? I think your LS combination might benefit, Jason, but Randall, your 265 should like C-11 better than C-12, based upon conventional wisdom. Whadda you guys know that the rest of us don't?

I would expect his 265" to prefer C11. My LT1 does, and it has more compression. Mine likes to be just a tick richer on C11. Like 12.9/13.0 vs 13.2~.

Just an update, passed fuel check in Topeka, pumped C-11 out, did not do anything to the foam, put C-12 in
Acquired a 498CI 1969 Camaro which needs C-12, so I just bought 1 barrel, no tricks, just cheap

Anybody see anything with C-25? Just curious
