Happy New Year everyone, I hope everyone is staying safe. I am looking for some advise. Refreshing my 396 325HP engine in my 1969 Chevelle. Looking for advise on an oil pan and valve springs. Thanks

The oil pan will be on the NHRA approved list if there is one. Valve Springs PAC

Doug: That's a good combo, and the '69 Chevelle is factored to 325/316. My son's running the same combo in a '68 Camaro. Look over the NHRA-approved products closely.

Re: 1969 Chevelle 325HP
I use the Moroso 20451 pan on mine. Fits well, but no room to spare on crossmember. Hangs a tick below crossmember as well. You will want the PAC conical springs #1427

I didn't think you could run that pan in stock? The sump is lowered. This is the pan I found however it won't fit on my Gen 6. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/chp-cp207

Get the Milodon 30710 NHRA accepted oil pan and send it to Stef's to have their trap door and scraper installed.
