Just to be clear the numbers posted are runner volumes in cc's (175 and 70) I did not post flow numbers I must say this was completed in the proper manner and are good results. Just saying

You feel it would be to much to ask to get a manifold to compliment these heads? Old cast iron stuff just getting hard to come by. 😂😂

Ya know Brian, you're right. There must be an Edelbrock intake that will match the heads.

Sometimes sarcasm and the truth are closely related.

So adjusting or "adding" material is illegal in stock and with NHRA have IR volumes on both the stock and replacement head wouldn't you fail tech either way? Not running the stock IR volumes in the replacement head? I see NHRA just allowing the replacement IR volumes to be allowed from here on out.

If you have 168 CC intake and 62 CC ex. you are good to go.

Terry the problem is not one of the castings on the approved list is able to get down to the stock runner cc's legally "wink wink" ! I talked to a tech guy at RHS today and he told me they haven't casted their approved heads since 2011. That doesn't mean you can't find them but he said RHS is pretty much done with cast iron stuff!

I just wish NHRA would research something before they paint it with their broad brush!
