Default Trailer roof repair

I have a 26' Classic Dominator that a branch fell on in the last ice storm. It damaged the front curved piece on the roof along with a few running lights. Does anyone know where I can get that curved front piece. Not sure if that piece is stainless steel or just polished steel. Any input would be helpful.

The original owners of Classic (not the scammer who bought the company and went to jail), are now NEO Manufacturing at the same location in Sturgis, MI.

Perhaps they can give you some help.

Drew,
I have a Classic LQ trailer, the roof part you are referencing is aluminum. Airparts has the bright aluminum. You would need to give them measurements and they will cut it, I do not recall if they can do anything else. I would suggest calling and speaking to them. A competent sheet metal shop should have a slip roller.

If you have any RV dealers with large service departments they might be of help. There is one locally that fixed a small leak in the roof of my Classic trailer. Granted a little different deal than what you are facing.

In my town there is at least one RV body shop, if you can find one of those it might work also.

If your trailer was insured the insurance company might have some suggestions.

Good luck and let us know when you find a solution.

Thanks all for the input.
FYI I called NEO and they advised Classic is no longer. One of the owners passed away and the other started NEO. NEO does not have parts for Classic. Unfortunately that is one of the only unique pieces on a classic trailer. Looks like my best bet is to take the piece off myself and have a metal fabricator roll a new piece and cut out for the running lights. Trailer is insured however 500.00 deductible doesn't do much on something like this.
Thanks again for the input.

Hey Drew,
You might want to investigate some repair shops for tractor-trailer boxes. I think there is/was one in Wallingford, CT. They should be able to fabricate a piece replace yours, or just take it there and let them do the whole repair.

Still no luck locating the front radius roof piece. ordered one from a truck body parts store and they screwed up and sent the incorrect size. What a **** show that was. Come to find out they cannot get the piece that fits the 8.5' body width. That is no longer an option. what I did learn is the Haulmark Elite trailer has the same exact size piece. Now the problem is the dealer near me (won't mention their name) does not return calls. Anyone know of a reliable Hallmark dealer with a decent parts department? Someone suggested to have it made by a fabricator. Checked many fabricators in my areas and no one can do it or doesn't want to do it. One would think this would be a simple fix. WTF!!!! suggestions anyone?

I had a similar situation with my Haulmark Trailer, I was able to go directly to their website an order the parts and had them shipped to my address. You may want to reconsider your insurance deductible, by the time they add the parts and labor you will be over your deductible. Good luck
