Your dads and Hagens probably had the ones with the RO different then the rest of the numbers(as most of the A990 cars). Only applies to early November 1964 cars at this point. I have yet to see a December car with the vin tag font like the Coppola car. Ostrich car had same day build date as the Coppola car and had same type vin tag. Werst car was an earlier B18(November 18 car) and same type vin tag as the Coppola(ie ebay car) and Ostrich car. What's funny is the Coppola car is like 81 on the list, but in reality is one of the first few out the door. Kinda funny but just think through the years the guys that thought something was wrong with their vin tag. I was just lucky to have run into a few of the cars. |

I remember seeing a sign on this car with a story. At the 2008 Hemi reunion. Can somebody do their magic, Charlie A?

Re: Survivor '65 A-990 Plymouth on eBay
Just for info. The no. 32 car sent to Holiday Chrysler Plymouth never made it to the drag strip as delivered.
It was bought by three guys from Edgewater Township for their dragster, they drove no. 32 on the streets for a while then pulled the motor and put it in their dragster ( formerly 409 powered ). When I left for College the car was still sitting out in the street in front of one of their houses. Have no idea what happened to it. JimR
