I logged in 3 different times this evening trying to put words down, my big brother loved being at the races, nothing gave him more joy than being at a drag race, the friendships that he made across this country are countless, we always razzed him about not being more serious about the racing part, he really enjoyed trying to make his cars as fast as possible but the people are what mattered to him. I'm so glad we were able to share some wins together, lots of laughs, lots of talks on are many road trips, a few too many arguments as well but I think that's part of being brothers. God Speed Big Bro.

A real loss to our racing family. We bought an engine from him 14 years ago. I still have it, I'm putting it back together. May God bless and comfort the family and friends in their time of loss.

Man, this sucks to hear. I only got to meet Lynn once a few years back before racing him round 1 at the US Nationals, and he was a super nice guy. He always would smile and wave when he saw me after that. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Lynn's big smile will be missed. He truly loved drag racing and the friendships that came with it. Prayers for the Engels family and Lynn's many, many friends.

This is very sad news. Lynn was a very good friend of mine. One of the really good guys.

Obviously a big hole in the Div. 5 racing family now. At 67 Lynn has left us all WAY TOO SOON. I am glad he got to race for many years and make so many friends in the racing world. R.I.P. Lynn and may God bring comfort to his family and many friends.

Didn't know Lynn that well. Only talked with him a few times but he was an awesome guy. You could tell from the first moment you spoke with him. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
