Default clutch recommendations

I'm having problems with my clutch I have a 438 buick dart engine the car weight is 2600 with 557 gears i tried a dual disc 10 inch ram clutch and also tried a 11 inch hays dual disc . What should I do or do you recommend a different clutch also what weight flywheel should i install

carlos give tim hyatt a call 1-440-254-1311,he does alot of clutches for comp cars and also is the sponsor for the united manual transmission racers website.the website is www.umtrdragrace.com and you can click on and register for the forums.tim is very nice guy and very knowledgable,also rebuilds and does his own r&d work.

Call Rob Youngblood at Advanced Clutches 208-880-6214. He can build you what you need and get it properly dialed in.

X2 based on real world experiences! I would bet Rob will tell you the two you have tried are about 3x more clutch than you need. He's got some of the Comp cars flyin'. Smaller is better.
