The VanDerBrink Auction Co. were the folks who ran the Lambrecht Chevrolet mega-sale in Nebraska a while back. Big money but a lot of interesting vehicles!

This sale should be another amazing event, I wish I lived closer just to visit!

Interestingly, we have a huge MOPAR auction going on today just South of Aberdeen with over 200 '60's and '70's MOPARS. It is also a VanDerBrink Auction. They're very busy people.

The bids on line for some of the cars has already put them out of reach for the ordinary Joe. The cars are only part of it though. The carbs, intakes, air cleaner assemblies and engines are worth many thousands of $$.

The guy hoarded this stuff for years; he would rarely sell anything. As bad luck would have it, he had an accident at home and died, leaving it for his wife to deal with. VanDerBrinks have been working with her for months.

Low 90's and high humidity today. I won't be going, but a lot of automotive history is leaving the area.
